“Content marketing is a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly-defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.”
Bob Ruffolo says,
“It’s the marketing of a business or brand through the sharing of educational, entertaining, or insightful information that will ultimately help readers improve their lives.”
According to Brafton:
“Content marketing is a conversation with your target audience. It humanizes your brand, adds authority to your market perception and provides the business intelligence you can act on.”
These are some definitions given by the experts of this Inbound Marketing industry.
Content is any information which is to be conveyed to the end-user, and marketing is to use this content strategically to get maximum benefit. And as Bob Ruffolo said, it should help readers improve their lives.
After knowing these things, Content Marketing according to me is,
“Content marketing is using the valuable content with the brainstormed marketing strategy in such a way that it attracts, informs and helps the targeted audience to capture their mind and builds authority, which leads to generating profitable sells by using various call-to-actions.”
